While traditional braces can affect one’s ability to do things like playing certain instruments or sports, people who choose Invisalign® aligners don’t have that problem. Just like with eating foods that other braces prevent you from eating, Invisalign® can be removed to prevent limitations.

If the thought of living with wires in your mouth sounds scary or uncomfortable, we don’t blame you! Thankfully, Invisalign® is both wire-free and worry-free. The special aligners are both custom-made and gentle, so there won’t be constant discomfort like there often is with traditional braces.

Oral care is another reason that removable Invisalign® aligners are fantastic. Just take them out before you brush and floss as normal, then put them back in.

We believe treatment should be personalized just for you. For those going forward with getting Invisalign®, we will take images and make impressions of your teeth. This will help us to determine what your expected results will look like, give you an idea of the cost and different payment options, and how long it will take to get there. While it varies from person to person, Invisalign® treatment typically takes about a year for adults and eighteen months for teenagers.

3. Getting Your New Aligners Ready to Use 

We will guide you every step of the way so that you can leave our office feeling confident in your knowledge of Invisalign® and how it is working to enhance your smile. You will need to wear aligners between 20-22 hours per day, so you should only remove them when necessary (but it is perfectly fine to do so!).

4. An Easy-to-Follow Schedule

Invisalign® is a set of aligners that will shift your teeth by about 1/10 mm each. This means that you have to switch out your aligners every two weeks until the process is complete to get the level of satisfaction that you expect and deserve.
